A Celebration of love...

...my favorite. A good friend of mine, Scott, just said "I do" on Saturday to a beautiful woman, Jenny. The ceremony was very nice and the wedding photographer did an excellent job, so she thinks :) Nonetheless she is happy with the results!!

I am now going to get my book together and market myself as the town photographer in my new home in the mountains!! to see those happenings check out my other blog dreamliving!

I am back!!

Below are a few photos from my recent travels. I am going to start marketing myself as a band photographer in Colorado. With some help from my band-tour-manager-friend Tony, I may get some photo gigs in the area. My inspiring friend James is responsible for helping me get my last Dark Star Orchestra photo published on their website and used for their promotional package. Besides that I am having a blast and sad to see that summer is ending... in hopes to go somewhere warm for winter or just stay in colorful Colorado!

The road home....

and the one-way flight back!

Thats right, I have been in Colorado for the past three weeks. I am near Glenwood Springs, which is about an hour away from Vail, Aspen and Grand Junction, all in different directions. My friend James and I have been travelling almost everyday to different mountain towns and having a blast....from Summer Jazz in Glenwood to Drum circles in Junction, and shows in Aspen and Vail, like Tea Leaf Green and JGB (Jerry Garcia Band) with Melvin Seals!

I am going home for my birthday, which is today--the big 24, and then coming back here. i hope to have work by the end of this month, because my funds are beginning to diminish. I am slightly weary, but have good people on my side that will support and see me through to help me if needed.

Soon, i will post some pictures!! Really this time.

And i hope everyone is having a splashing summer, in the sunshine with smiles!!

word from LA. i am having lots of fun. was able to shake and squirm my body in the sand at the drum circle on the beach on saturday. felt great, very interesting people everywhere from tourists to locals, vagabonds and gypsies and the such. I like it here, the mentality and vibe is very real and not at all like i am use to, but aware that it had all existed. i admit, i am fascinated with the bums and All the great RV motor homes parked along the roads...look out, i really would love to have one to call my own! oh, and soon i am going to start capturing the great architectual homes in this area....really cool

I have been having lots of fun, and have had little time on the computer. but today i am making progress of backing up my 300 pictures and tomorrow I will do the old-fashion technique of making prints then mail them to friends!!

i hope you all are well in cyberspace that actually checks in on this standstill blog! Hopefully I'll be able to post some of my pictures of everything from mountain landscape, people, firedancers, abstract and self portrait.
